THE MISSING

Stuff it had a great product (sweet, custom made, volleyball shorts for girls), they had access to a local market (Northern New Jersey), and they had 30 years experience in technical sportswear, they even had nicely designed logo. The only missing was an online presence, nowhere to send potential customers to view their products; nowhere for people to get in touch with them. And, without the means to sell to a broader market, they were severely limited.

CAPTURING THE LOOK

Enter LANFusion. We started with the design, mainly, getting clear what they were looking for. They wanted a clean but not plain, trendy, unique, edgy design that pops with volleyball references and a little Hawaiian flavor in the mix. With the help of some great photography (compliments of Alex Cena), we were able to capture the feel they were looking for, while at the same time, making it fit with their current brand.

BRINGING IN THE DOUGH

Now that we were clear on the design, we got into the development process. We hand coded them a content management system which give them the ability to change all the content on their site. Their shop allows them to show multiple images of each product along with a zoomed view of each image to see the intricate details of each short.

GETTING THEIR ATTENTION

Being that their target market is high school girls, they wanted the home page to pop out and grab the viewers attention. We created an in-your-face flash animation and integrated it into the homepage to get people’s attention. The animation fades into a flash image slider which allows Stuff it to show more action shots of people playing volleyball and can link to the actual shop page of the short in the image.
